‘How hyperscale automation impacts your future as a software engineer’ by Niels Brouwers

Products are becoming more complex, companies are continuously pressured to accelerate their product development process, and on top of this the shortage of engineers is becoming a limiting factor for the company’s products time to market. In the vision of Capgemini, hyperscale automation is one of the answers for these challenges. With technology advancing rapidly, more and more activities in the engineering process will inevitably be executed by automated solutions. If this is the near future, what would then be a successful strategy to shape your career as software engineer?

About Niels Brouwers:

Niels has almost 15 years experience of applying model-driven engineering (MDE) and domain specific languages (DSL) in industry. He is passionate in leading the next leap in software engineering. Ever since the first successful experience in applying a domain specific language in industry, Niels has been specializing in the development and deployment of modeling solutions tailored to the client’s engineering process, engineer’s daily work, waste elimination and complexity management.

With his experience acquired from different projects and roles, Niels is able to successfully lead the development and deployment of (domain specific) modeling solutions to improve quality, TTM and quality of a client’s engineering process.
